Badger Cup |
Sign-up for
this two-person team event today! The past
two years, everyone has had a blast at this
event, so don't be that one person that
misses out this year.

Shotgun start at 10:30 a.m.
Who: Open to all members of the 4 Wisconsin
EWGA Chapters (Madison, Milwaukee, Fond du
Lac, Fox Cities/Green Bay)
Format: 2-Person Teams
Combination Format: (Holes 1 thru 6: Best
Ball, Holes 7 thru 12: Scramble, Holes 13
thru 18: Alternate Shot)
Cost: $75 per person -- includes 18 holes
golf, appetizers after golf, prizes, and a
great time!
Participate in a fun, 2-Person Team scramble
format, along with other teams from your
chapter to battle for the Badger Cup and
bragging rights for the next year. This is
a great chance to play a fantastic golf
course, with a teammate in a fun format as
well as meet and mingle with members of the
other Wisconsin chapters.
We will use each team member's handicap to
create a team handicap. You and your
teammate will then play using a combination
format.

Weekend Golf

members of the EWGA Chapters and Public. Come
Play with us for the whole weekend or come for the
day!Fox
Hills Resort is a beautiful 500-acre, full service
resort in an ideal setting for year round recreation
and entertainment. They feature one of Wisconsin's
finest golf facilities with 45 holes of Challenging
golf, two indoor and two outdoor swimming pools,
fitness center, The Oasis Spa, on-site restaurants
and a fun sports bar. You can make additional
arrangements at the spa with the Fox Hills Resort.
Saturday night sports bar may feature a band.

Chapter
Championship Recap |
 On Saturday July
18th the 2009 EWGA Fox Cities Green Bay Chapter
Championship was held at Chaska Golf Course in
Greenville. Even though it was July the weather
felt like it was May with high temperature of
65 degrees. We had one competitive stroke
player and three competitive scramble teams.
The scramble teams ended up in a three way tie
with a net score of 71. After review of the
last nine hole scores it was determined that
Beth Weishaar, Lori Mirwald, Tami Vosters and
Pam Fritz would prevail as the first place
team. Patricia Boverhuis took first place in
the 4th flight stroke play. I'm please to
announce that the first place scramble team and
Patricia will go on to represent our chapter at
the semi Finals at The Jewel Golf Club in Lake
City Minnesota on Saturday August 29th. The
temperature was balmy 65 degrees for the day!

Refund Policy |

Unless otherwise
noted, refunds are given up to five days prior to
the event. If you need to cancel, contact the event
chair at least 5 days before the event date and the
registration fee will be refunded, minus a 15%
cancellation fee. If EWGA Fox Cities/Green Bay
cancels the event, you will be notified and a full
refund will be given. |
