Getting Started Program
(Skill Level 1)
Location: Winagamie Golf Course, 3501 Winnegamie
Dr., Neenah
Who: The “Getting
Started” program is designed for women with little
or no golf experience, women who are coming back to
the game after an absence, or women who don’t feel
ready to join a league and would like to reinforce
the fundamentals and get out on the course in a
non-intimidating environment.
What: Lessons followed by experience on the course
When: Lessons Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:00-7:30
for 8 weeks, beginning June 7 and ending July 28.
After 8 week session join League 2 for a taste of
how much you have improved your game!
How To Sign Up:

(Minimum of 8 required to run the clinic)
Cost: $195.00 Members
- $225.00 Non-members. Fee includes eleven 90-minute
instructional sessions, all learning materials and
all greens fees. Difference in price between member
and non-member fees will be refunded if non-member
applies for EWGA membership within 30 days of start
of clinic.
PROGRAM DETAILS:
Lessons: Skill development sessions taught by LPGA
Professional, MaryBeth Nienhaus, provide an
introduction to the basic terminology, rules,
etiquette and 5 basic golf shots (full swing,
putting, chipping, pitching, sand)
EWGA Play Days: Lessons followed by on the course
playing sessions – 90 min. each with
instructor/mentor. Greens fees included.
Student also receives a certificate upon
“graduation” from the EWGA Getting Started Program.
This New Golfer Program aligns itself with the
original “Getting Started” program designed by EWGA
as well as the “Get Golf Ready” program supported by
EWGA and Play Golf America.
